Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway Project

With the scale and technical standard of grade A expressway, allowing road vehicles to travel with the designed speed of 120km/h, Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway Project is currently the most modern expressway in Vietnam with length of 105.5 km passing Hanoi and provinces Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, 6-lane embankment with width of 35m and 1.5-3m wide separation. Both sides of the expressway are designed with green belt and fencing wall, 10m wide roadside is used for technical corridor serving pipelines, fiber cables and noise immunity. This is the first expressway in Vietnam and the only one project nationwide which has no domestic building adjacent to both sides of the expressway because both sides are landscaped with parks, green belt and technical works serving the operation of the international standard expressway. The total construction cost of this project is 1.4 billion US dollars.

Meinhardt International in association with Vietnam – Japan Engineering Consultants Co., Ltd. is assigned to provide the construction supervision service for this project.
