The project is to construct a tourist area on land reclaimed from the sea, the first resort of this kind in Vietnam. The project, with total investment of US$ 400 million, is planned in three phases and will be put into operation in 2015. It will create a 600 hectare area, of which 200 hectares will be earmarked for an artificial beach and the remainder for luxury villas, entertainment areas and parks, and a shopping center. The project will rank third in size among similar projects in South-East Asia. Meinhardt (Vietnam) Ltd. in association with Vina Mekong Engineering Consultants Company (VMEC) is assigned to undertake Project Management Consultancy for construction of Water Works and Surface Leveling for this project.
