Construction QS Engineer (Male)
Key responsibilities:
- Perform preparation and review of estimates, total project estimates, total investment;
- Separate the volume of the project to serve the construction work of consulting bidding;
- Update and adjust the volume of variations in the project estimate records;
- Evaluate materials, check the estimate records in the estimate summary prepared by the design consultant during the design and construction phase;
- Evaluate the completed work volume of the contractors to ensure the basis for approval of payment and settlement;
- Understand the contract terms to complete the payment and settlement records; check the contractor’s volume summary to serve the payment and settlement work;
- Coordinate with other specialized departments to ensure the requirements on progress and accuracy of the documents;
Major job requirements:
Education:
- Graduated from a regular university with a related major;
- Foreign language: English (at least at a good level in listening, speaking, reading, writing);
Working Experience:
- 10 years of experience in a similar position;
- Ability to read drawings of all relevant subjects in the construction field;
- Understanding of the law, terms and conditions of the FIDIC Contract and related regulations to have appropriate solutions when working with contractors as well as related parties;
- Understanding of Technical Criteria to quickly detect contractor errors when proposing materials that are not in accordance with the provisions of the Technical Criteria;
- Grasping the construction progress and variations during the project implementation process;

Special requirements:
- Grade 1 valuation engineer practice certificate in the construction field
